Guys need some advice!?

so me and this guy that i have known for about 6 months now hooked up last friday. he is a bouncer at the bar me and my friends ALWAYS go to. and i dont know if it is going to go beyond hooking up or not but anyway, we went to the same bar again sat. and without meaning to i kind of gave him the cold shoulder, he was promiting and i only really saw him when i went to leave and i just kindda said bye and left. so i wante to say something to him but what... without coming off desperate or needy. should i text him or email him? help me out fellas!
