Can I do OCS in the US army when I have had to done basic training for a friendly foreign NATO army? ?

I am a dual citizen and 9 years ago I had to do compulsory service in a friendly foreign NATO army. Will this preclude me getting an appointment for OCS and/or security clearance? I am willing to renounce the foreign citizenship.
