Was the window overpriced?

I slammed my friends door and now the window won't go up and down correctly. It's not a problem with the switch, because the switch will make it go up and down slighty, so no power problems. She took it to one place which said they would charge 85 JUST to LOOK at it.. we then found a place that said they would charge 60 to fix AND look at it.. I suppose this is better though I feel it will probably in real life cost about five dollars to fix.
