Wanna be a rapper, but?

i'm afraid people won't like what i talk about. i mean everybody's so into that commercial type music today that they don't care about real things anymore. i rap about different issues and just make music to uplift, inspire and to just help people. but rap isn't like that anymore, everybody's into soulja boy, lil wayne and all those other bubblegum artist. anyway should i continue rapping and take a chance and do the type of music i like or should i just quit all together and pursue a different goal
