Is E-mail Possible To and From El Salvador, Central America?

This past week I met and made new friends, However they live in the country of El Salvador Central America, Does anyone know if Yahoo or anyone else offers E-Mail to and From Central America? Has anyone out there ever exchange E-mail with anyone to and from El Salvador Central America? Thanks?
