I cant sleep please help!!! im take this metronidazole?

metronidazole l gel and one of the rare side effects is insomnia i dk what to do some one please help me!!! this happened last night and cause me to miss work i got an hour of sleep b4 i had to go in so i called in after wards i slept from 11 to almost 3 so bout 6 hours and i have to work 2mrrow as well i need sleep. i feel tired but when ever i lay down i can't go to sleep i fell asleep for maybe 20 mins every little thing is keepin me awake this has never happened to me b4 till i started taking this and its making me mad. please some one give me advice! i have a relaxation tape from mid west i tried it last night but it didnt really help it helped me relax but that was it, any one else know of anything?
