What did caveman do about wisdom teeth and root cs?

cavement had large mouths and jaws which were able to fit all of the teeth, through evolution, the mouths got smaller...then we came! also, they only ate meat and vegitation, and if they did have a tooth issue, they probably pried it out with a stone tool or something.
