How to get a gas connectin in Mallappally?

I am a govt.employee now working in Mallappally taluk and I need a gas connection from any of the companies- indane or bharat gas. I do not have a ration card of my own but my name is included in the combine ration card of my family which is in thiruvananthapuram dist. CAN ANY ONE ADVISE ME IN THIS SITUATION
